Picking the right Salsa Teacher

I think something that is not thought about too much in finding a Salsa teacher is from where are they getting their information. If you are learning salsa, wouldnt you like to know that you are learning salsa from a great source, and not just something your teacher came up with themselves or on the dance floor? To put it in broader terms, you might want to ask yourself, "Who are your teachers, teachers".

Utah is really an island. Most teachers learned locally, most started teaching when they thought they were good enough without proper training or awards. Many are more self entitled then qualified. This is why i have spent my whole career training with the very best. so i can say that i have the proper training, and it is coming from the proper authority. I have spent tens of thousands in private lessons and most of the time ive had to travel out of utah to do so. Private lessons with professionals usually start at $100 per hour.
